featuring Joe Christensen, Jude Ryan Reiling, and guests Kirk Freeman and Chad Jerzak.
This annual event kicks off artOPENer weekend at the gallery. It is a great opportunity to be the first to see what is available from the potters and their guests. It will include the ever-evolving work of resident artists Joe Christensen and Jude Ryan Reiling. Joe is moving into new forms, color and painterly applications on his pots. Jude continues to work with figurative sculpture, gestural in nature, for both indoor and outdoor use.
Kirk Freeman is a returning favorite to the gallery. His functional porcelain, ash-fired glazed pots are truly a treasure for the home, as well as for gift-giving occasions. New to the roster this year is raku artist Chad Jerzak. Chad loves the challenges of raku and barrel firing and sees the process as unpredictable and compelling.
