Joe Christensen and Jude Ryan Reiling share a clay studio on the main level of SEASONS on St. Croix Gallery. Joe is a nationally recognized potter who throws large vessels and creates dynamic wall sculptures. His work is frequently carved and is all soda fired in a huge kiln on our lower level. When Joe isn’t creating beautiful pottery, he paints abstract, contemporary pieces using acrylic on canvas. Joe is assisted in the studio by Brian Legasse. Jude is currently creating figurative sculptural work that has had a wonderful response from the public who enjoy the gestural nature of the pieces. Jude’s sculptures are very feminine in nature and suggest human feelings of Hope, Love, Generosity, Grace, Curiosity, Solitude and Persistence.
